Did you know that Blogger Cage started with a blog?
On July 2, 2019, the first publication on the blog was made. The post “manifesto” was entitled How to Index backlinks in Google. At that time, our Digital Marketing software, had not even been released yet - that would only happen 6 months later. Before launching the product, the blog helped Blogger Cage gain audience, validate hypotheses for product development and educate the market about Digital Marketing. In the beginning, we published one post per week, but, as time went by, the frequency increased, also following the growth of the company and the team. We went to 2 posts per week and then to one post per business day until we reach the current periodicity, which varies from 6 to 8 posts per week. That is, early on we understood the importance of a blog and the potential that this channel has to generate business for a company. In this post, we bring a little of our experience and list the biggest reasons for your company to have a blog as a Digital Marketing tool. 1. Establish leadership When you write about a subject, you are constantly putting your knowledge to the test. If you don't know much about the subject, you will certainly be criticized on social media and blog comments. However, if your blog has quality, is successful and is highly commented, you become an authority on the subject. Potential customers see you as someone who knows what you're talking about and they start to trust your brand more. 2. Helps you to be found for free on Google Publishing content frequently means that your business has many more pages indexed on Google than a regular website. In addition, it increases the likelihood of other sites linking to your site, which helps you to position yourself better on Google and receive more visits organically. 3. It is interactive Most blogs have spaces for comments. Encouraging this conversation is a new way of creating relationships with your customers. In addition, you can take from this space several ideas for new posts, learn new things from the experience of others and receive opinions for your blog, your company and your products or services. 4. Is dynamic A common website assumes fixed, stopped content. With a blog, you have the opposite idea: constant updates, new content. This makes people visit the blog on a recurring basis. 5. Facilitates the sales process The blog helps a lot in cases where the approached customer is not yet in the ideal moment of purchase. Thus, by attracting you to your website, the customer can continue in continuous contact with your company even if you have not purchased your product or service. That way, you will gradually establish trust and the customer will already have your brand in mind when they finally decide it is time to buy. 6. Permanent results Unlike a TV advertisement, a banner on a third party website or a flyer delivered at the traffic light, the blog is a permanent asset. If you stop investing in advertising, you will no longer have a presence on these channels. If you stop writing on the blog, however, the referral links and authority of your pages to Google continue, so your company continues to receive traffic to the site for free. 7. Generates learning This is a little valued point, but extremely important. Writing a blog is a responsibility that forces you to always be aware of what happens in your industry. In addition, the fact of having to write means that you, who have studied and experienced a lot and have different opinions and arguments in your head, organize this knowledge well and manage to absorb what is most important.
